Mason Jars are versatile containers that can be transformed into whatever your imagination allows. I was decorating my bathroom and wanted to add a homey touch that was quick, easy, and inexpensive.
So I decided to upcycle plain mason jars into stylish storage containers for my cotton balls, cotton pads, and cotton swabs.
For this project, you will need:
- Mason Jars (I purchased mine at H&L Rapid True Value)
- Matte Black Spray Paint
- Glue (I used Nail Glue), and
- Small Cupboard Knobs
Step 1
Clean the top of the jar lids to remove dirt, as it will be difficult to attach the knobs

Step 2
Attach the cupboard knobs to the jar lid, using the glue. I started using hot glue, however, the wooden knob was not adhering to the metal lid, so I switched to nail glue, and it worked.

Step 3
Spray paint the lids and allow to dry completely. Once lids are completely dry, fill the jar with swab or whatever you desire.

Step 4
Style and enjoy

Quick and Easy. You can select a color that suits your decor in addition to larger containers. The options are endless.
Whatever you decide, just have fun with it.
